Brooklyn and his wife make first appearance after criticizing parents

The eldest son of the Beckham family, Brooklyn, 27, along with his wife, walked their dog on the beach, making their first public appearance after he posted a message criticizing his parents.

Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were seen walking hand-in-hand on a beach in Malibu, California, on 23/1. This public outing marks their first appearance since Brooklyn posted a message on 19/1, accusing his parents, Victoria and David Beckham, of attempting to control his life, spreading countless lies to the media, and sabotaging his marriage. In his post, Brooklyn stated he desired a peaceful, private life with his wife and had no interest in family reconciliation.

According to Page Six, the couple's stroll lasted about 30 minutes, during which Brooklyn paused to photograph Nicola and their pet dog. Dressed casually, they were seen smiling and displaying affection for each other.

Neither David nor Victoria Beckham has directly addressed the family discord publicly. However, David Beckham attended the World Economic Forum in Switzerland on 20/1, where he notably ignored questions about his son. Shortly after, during a CNBC program discussing social media's impact on children's mental health, the former football star commented that "children have made mistakes, but young people have the right to make errors." This statement garnered attention as it was his first public comment after Brooklyn's accusations.

Despite David Beckham and his wife remaining silent in recent days, they have continued to update their Instagram Stories for work commitments and to celebrate friends. On 21/1, Victoria posted birthday wishes for Emma Bunton, a former member of the Spice Girls group. On the same day, David also shared birthday greetings for two former teammates, Nicky Butt and Philip Neville, who played with him for Manchester United.

The "Beckham family feud" is a trending topic in international media, though reports of discord within the family first surfaced in 4/2025. Late last year, information suggested that Brooklyn had blocked his parents' Instagram accounts and requested all communication be channeled through lawyers.

The last time all family members were photographed together was Christmas 2024. While they have not met since, David and Victoria Beckham frequently mention their son in social media posts, expressing affection for him but notably omitting their daughter-in-law. Before the rift, the entire family regularly posted happy photos and videos together.
