During a cine-tour in Ha Noi on 13/3, My Tam and Mai Tai Phen joined the "Good Goodbye" dance, a current social media trend. The singer swayed to the melody, performing simple dance moves. The video quickly amassed 13 million views, with fans captivated by their natural interaction and Mai Tai Phen's evident affection for My Tam.
The "Good Goodbye" dance originates from Hwasa's song of the same name, a phenomenon in the Korean music scene. Its music video achieved 128 million listens four months after release, making Hwasa the only female solo artist to achieve a Perfect All-Kill (PAK) title in Korea in 2025. "Good Goodbye" surpassed IU's record, becoming the solo artist song with the most PAK hours in Kpop history.
The two artists are currently on a promotional tour for the film "Tai," a project My Tam invested in and produced, with Mai Tai Phen as director. The film premiered on 6/3. For many years, they have maintained a close professional and personal relationship, though they have not confirmed dating rumors. My Tam stated she admires his kindness, thoughtfulness, and understanding, which always makes her feel comfortable around him.
Mai Tai Phen shared that working with My Tam taught him to maintain a positive attitude, always remaining calm and clear-headed in handling situations. He added, "There are things Tam and I don't need to say; a look in each other's eyes is enough to understand."

During a Q&A session, My Tam expressed her emotion at the audience's positive reception of the film. Audiences warmly received the film, which surpassed 80 billion dong in revenue within one week of its premiere. Initially, when Mai Tai Phen sent the script, the singer intended to take only a small role, not considering becoming the main producer of the project.
My Tam decided to invest in the work because she recognized Mai Tai Phen's dedication over many years. He is passionate about the action genre and had been developing "Tai" for three years, declining other roles to focus on the project. "Phen is adept at updating and learning new things, with an innovative mindset. Upon reviewing it, I found the film exceeded my expectations," the singer commented.
My Tam, 45 years old, graduated as valedictorian from the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music and began singing at 17. Besides singing, she has acted in the TV series "Cho mot tinh yeu" and the film "Chi tro ly cua anh." In 4/2023, the singer released her debut documentary "Nguoi giu thoi gian," donating box office revenue to charity.
Mai Tai Phen, 35 years old, from Bac Lieu, graduated from the Acting Faculty, Ho Chi Minh City University of Theater and Cinema in 2016. He previously appeared in music videos for Huong Tram and My Tam before participating in the film "Chi tro ly cua anh."
