Buitruonglinh to hold concert for 10-year singing anniversary

Singer buitruonglinh, 27, runner-up of Anh trai say hi 2025, is staging the concert "Tung ngay" to celebrate a decade in the industry.

On the evening of 24/3, over 2,000 tickets for the event sold out in 12 minutes. The singer said, "I was overwhelmed when I heard the news. It's my first solo concert; I was nervous, but now I feel somewhat relieved." On Threads, the keyword "concert Bui Truong Linh sold out" was popular with many related posts.

The show offers five ticket tiers ranging from 499,000 to 1,999,000 dong, each accompanied by different benefits and gifts. A representative for the singer stated that the price range is suitable for many audience members, including students. Buitruonglinh said, "I'm not setting commercial goals, profit or loss. I want to fulfill a long-held dream – to organize a concert marking my career journey."

Buitruonglinh has been preparing the event for several months, using his savings to invest in various stages. The show's content is inspired by the cycle of four seasons. The Gen Z vocalist likened this process to his career path, which contains both challenges and triumphs. Buitruonglinh will perform a series of hits with new arrangements and stage designs.

Buitruonglinh, whose real name is Bui Truong Linh, is from Hanoi. At eight years old, he passed the entrance exam for the Vietnam National Academy of Music. When his family moved south, he continued his studies in vocal performance at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music.

Professionally, he became known through several popular songs: "Duong toi cho em ve" (61 million views on YouTube), "Du cho mai ve sau" (27 million), "Yeu nguoi co uoc mo" (26 million), and "Tung ngay yeu em" (38 million). In 2025, his composition "Thinh vuong Viet Nam sang ngoi" was chosen for performance at the 80th National Day celebration. In the same year, buitruonglinh gained popularity on Anh trai say hi, winning runner-up and the "Future Brother" title. In the competition, the singer not only showcased his strengths in pop and ballad but also experimented with vibrant dance music, notably with performances like "Hermosa" and "Make up".
