The 'Sao nhap ngu 2026' concert, held on 9/5 at the F1 Racetrack - My Dinh, featured a unique blend of music and military prowess, drawing an estimated 20,000 attendees. A highlight of the evening was the display by special forces soldiers from the Commando Officer School, who performed alongside prominent Vietnamese artists. The concert is inspired by the popular reality television series 'Sao nhap ngu', which sees entertainment stars undergo military training.
During the performance of 'Nam quoc son ha', sung by Phuong My Chi and Phao, special forces soldiers demonstrated qigong and unarmed martial arts. They also showcased skills with staffs, sticks, and swords, captivating the audience. A particularly impressive segment involved soldiers using qigong to bend iron bars, met with continuous applause from the crowd.
The concert's production integrated a range of military equipment, including tanks, trucks, and artillery, into various acts. For instance, tanks advanced onto the stage during the song 'Nam anh em tren mot chiec xe tang' (music by Doan Nho, lyrics by Huu Thinh), further illustrating the themes of military life and national pride. The audience cheered as soldiers appeared on stage during this powerful segment, which also referenced 'Tieu doan 307' and 'Tien ve Sai Gon'.
Beyond the military displays, the concert boasted a lineup of many artists, including Ha Anh Tuan, Hoa Minzy, Quoc Thien, Kay Tran, Huong Giang, Chi Pu, and Dong Nhi. Early in the afternoon, audience members gathered to await the concert. This event follows a previous show held in 8/2025 in TP HCM.
