Speaking upon receiving the Best Actor award (Thi de), Bosco Wong said, "My mind is blank right now." He then thanked the producers for giving him the opportunity to act. He added, "TVB is where I grew up, where I was nurtured. Without TVB, there would be no Bosco Wong."
The actor thanked his mother, revealing her poor health, and told her to "stay home and watch the awards ceremony." He created a buzz on social networks and fan pages for winning Best Actor for the first time after 10 nominations.

Charmaine Sheh set a record by winning the TVB Best Actress award (Thi hau) four times. She stated, "Tonight will be an unforgettable night for me. Winning this award today is for Man Wai Sum (Charmaine Sheh's role in *News Queen 2*); the character herself brought me into dialogue with the audience and gained their empathy."
The 51-year-old star encouraged young actors, stating, "History is made by people. As long as you don't give up, you will make history."
The atmosphere at the awards ceremony became somber when organizers played a tribute video commemorating veteran TVB figures who passed away in 2025, including artists Chau Chung, Hui Siu Hung, Suet Nei, Tong Kai, and Lam Sheung Yu.

Sheh entered the entertainment industry in 1997 after winning first runner-up at Miss Hong Kong. She was a prominent TVB leading actress in the 2000s, starring in series such as *Return of the Cuckoo*, *Beyond the Realm of Conscience*, *Can't Buy Me Love*, *Line Walker*, *War and Beauty*, and *The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber*.
When she left TVB in 2016, many believed she would lose her "support system" and struggle to advance her career, having passed her prime. However, the actress proved her capabilities, maintaining her position in the entertainment industry. In 2018, thanks to *Story of Yanxi Palace*, she became highly sought after for advertisements and events. According to Bosco Wong, growing up in a single-parent family partly influenced his choices.
