On the afternoon of 28/6, Beat Network, in collaboration with the Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio, hosted a screening of the documentary ‘Homeland of the Father.' The event attracted many attendees, including families with parents, grandparents, and young people, who came to enjoy the film on Vietnamese Family Day.

Directed by Meritorious Artist Vuong Khanh Luong, the film follows characters on their quest to rediscover their roots and reconnect with relatives after being separated by war. Through its rich archival footage, the work portrays family memories and the lasting losses across generations.

Throughout the screening, many viewers expressed empathy for the characters' journeys. Several noted that the film reminded them of the significance of reunion moments and the value of family bonds in modern life.

Following the screening, director Vuong Khanh Luong engaged in a Q&A with the audience, sharing insights into the filmmaking process, his approach to the characters, and behind-the-scenes stories. Many audience members also exchanged their feelings, perceiving the film not only as a story about finding a father but also as a reminder of intergenerational connection within families.
In addition to the film screening, the program featured interactive activities such as "Scroll of Memories" and the "One Touch to Remember" experience space, offering attendees opportunities to share family-related memories. According to a representative from the organizing unit, bringing documentaries closer to younger audiences is a key objective of the "Vietnam Untold" series.
Beat Network, with an ecosystem boasting over 50 million followers, more than 20 community brands, and over 40 multi-platform channels, aims to make documentaries more accessible to young people through screenings and media outreach. Through its digital content ecosystem, the "Vietnam Untold" program hopes to help disseminate documentary works and stories about Vietnam's history, culture, and people to a broad public.
In the coming period, the "Vietnam Untold" series will continue to introduce documentaries on various themes, exploring different facets of Vietnam's land, people, and cultural values.
