The exhibition space is part of a series of sideline activities for the 5th Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon, organized under the direction of the Hanoi People's Committee and the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. It commemorates the 72nd anniversary of the Capital's Liberation Day and marks the first year Vietnam organizes Vietnam Culture Day on 24/11.
The exhibition is accompanied by a judging panel comprising photographers Tran Tuan Viet, Marcus Lacey, and Ngo Huy Hoa (Hachi8). These individuals possess extensive experience in cultural, tourism, lifestyle, and sports photography.
Judge Tran Tuan Viet is known for his works on Vietnamese culture and heritage. Marcus Lacey focuses on Hanoi's architecture, urban spaces, and daily life, while Ngo Huy Hoa often captures running races and sports events. According to the organizers, the diverse perspectives of the judges ensure the selection process considers visual elements, cultural narratives, and experiences of Hanoi.

From over 3,000 submissions, the judging panel selected 30 works for display. The photographs capture different facets of Hanoi, from the rhythm of early morning streets and timeless structures to the dynamics of urban life. They create a visual journey through the city.
Photographer Marcus Lacey stated that Hanoi inspires photographers due to its evolving landscapes, people, and daily rhythm. "What I love about Hanoi is that even in seemingly familiar places, photographers can still find a new perspective," he said. "The city changes daily but retains its unique character. I hope the exhibition offers the public another way to experience Hanoi and discover their own Hanoi."

Ms. Thai Minh Diem Tu, Director of Marketing Division at Techcombank, stated that each season provides an opportunity for Techcombank to collaborate with Hanoi on community-focused activities. In its fifth season, beyond sports, the marathon expands its connection to urban culture and life through the 'one Hanoi. a million steps forward' exhibition. This initiative helps spread the beauty, identity, and vitality of the capital, a city with a thousand years of civilization, to both domestic and international audiences.
"We believe these connections will foster love, pride, and attachment to the capital," she added, "allowing the cultural values that shape Hanoi's unique identity to continue to thrive, spread, and become an internal driving force for the city's sustainable development."
