Submit your "Song ruc ro" contest entry here.
The "Song ruc ro" (Living Brilliantly) digital content creation contest is a new feature of Vietnam iContent 2026, offering a platform for individuals to become content creators. This competition is open to Vietnamese citizens residing, studying, or working both domestically and internationally, as well as foreigners legally living in Vietnam. Participants can enter as individuals or as a group.
The Organizing Committee does not impose a fixed definition for "Song ruc ro". Instead, it encourages diverse perspectives, prioritizing authentic and inspiring stories that collectively illustrate a breakthrough and vibrant Vietnam.
Specifically, entries can focus on themes such as: exploring inspiring individuals and their silent contributions; showcasing good deeds, humanitarian gestures, and community responsibility; or presenting innovative initiatives, models, or solutions that bring practical value to society. The Organizing Committee also welcomes works celebrating Vietnamese lands, cultural beauty, history, and national identity; stories of overcoming adversity, entrepreneurship, and aspirations to contribute; efforts to preserve and promote traditional values in the digital era; and fresh, modern perspectives on Vietnam and its people during the integration process.
Submission formats
Submission formats are diverse and flexible, featuring three categories: Video, Photo, and Article. Video entries can be reports, vlogs, or short documentaries, up to 5 minutes in length, in either horizontal or vertical format, accompanied by a description or script of no more than 300 words. Photo entries should include 5-12 photos in JPG/PNG format, along with a content description or story of up to 700 words. Article entries should be no more than 1,000 words, accompanied by one to two illustrative photos in JPG/PNG format.
Contestants must publicly post their entries on their personal accounts/pages (TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram) with the hashtags #VietnamiContent2026 #Songrucro #[Name_of_creation_location]. Afterward, contestants access the program's website to complete the information form and submit the link to their entry via the official submission portal.
Each individual or organization can submit multiple entries without limit. A single work may be posted on several platforms, and the Organizing Committee will recognize the post with the highest virality metrics for scoring. Entries must remain public throughout the contest period.
Judging criteria
The Organizing Committee specified the timeline for entry submission, preliminary round, final round, and awards ceremony. If necessary, the schedule may change, and the Organizing Committee will announce such changes publicly on the program's official communication channels.
| Round | Time | Format |
| Entry submission | 12h on 18/9 to 12h on 31/10 | online |
| Preliminary round | 2-16/11 | online |
| Final round | 20/11-4/12 | online |
| Awards ceremony | 11/12 | offline |
In the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee will review the validity of submissions and select 45 outstanding entries (15 entries per category) for the final round. Specifically, each category will include: 5 entries with the most prominent interaction and virality metrics on platforms as of 12h on 31/10; and 10 works selected by the judging panel for their content, creativity, and artistic quality.
For the final round, the Judging Panel will score the top 45 entries based on a set of professional criteria. If necessary, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to request original materials from contestants to verify authenticity before announcing results.
The four judging criteria are as follows:
Content and message: entries must adhere to the "Song ruc ro" theme, conveying humanitarian and positive values, with the ability to inspire and encourage good actions.
Creativity: unique ideas, fresh perspectives, rich in discovery; appealing presentation suitable for digital media trends.
Quality of expression: good storytelling skills; meticulous composition; professional technical quality (image, sound, lighting, writing style).
Spread effect: high level of interaction, generating positive community feedback.
The "Song ruc ro" contest features a total of 11 awards across all three categories. Each category includes a first prize worth 30 million Vietnamese dong, a second prize of 20 million Vietnamese dong, and a third prize of 10 million Vietnamese dong, accompanied by a certificate. Additionally, the Organizing Committee will present 5 Techcombank OneU awards, chosen by the accompanying unit, each with a total value of 3-6 million Vietnamese dong, comprising U-Points and vouchers from partners.
To safeguard their rights, responsibilities, and avoid violations, contestants should thoroughly read the contest rules, including regulations on copyright, prohibited content, and handling of infringements.
Previously, the Organizing Committee revealed that Khoai Lang Thang, the "Song ruc ro" campaign ambassador, will join the Judging Panel for the final round.
