Cao Van Binh, 21 years old, is from Nghe An and developed through the Song Lam Nghe An training academy. He joined the renowned football cradle in his hometown at 10 years old, once winning the U13 national championship with his teammates. In 2020, he helped the Nghe team secure third place at the U15 tournament.
His strengths include quick reflexes and composure. In 2023, at 18 years old, he became one of the youngest goalkeepers in history to be given a starting opportunity in the V.League. He previously won the U23 Southeast Asia Championship with the national team and secured a gold medal at SEA Games 33.
Van Binh was named Best Goalkeeper at the CFA Team China 2025 friendly tournament (3/2025). He also contributed to U22 Vietnam keeping a clean sheet against U22 China at the Panda Cup 2025 (11/2025).
