Within one day of its release, the music video garnered over 600,000 views on YouTube, securing a spot among YouTube Vietnam's top trending videos, as reported by Kworb. The song, composed by Chau Dang Khoa, draws inspiration from traditional music, blending Northern a dao (a traditional Vietnamese singing style) with Southern folk melodies.

Producer Tran Thanh Trung, who spearheaded the music video, revealed that upon hearing the demo, he immediately reached out to both singers for recording, confident that their duet would create a significant impact. The production team faced the challenge of merging two distinct vocal styles, striving to maintain each artist's regional essence while achieving musical harmony. They meticulously revised the lyrics multiple times, even composing new sections to perfectly complement the vocal ranges of Hoa Minzy and Cam Ly.

Hoa Minzy expressed her happiness at the opportunity to sing with Cam Ly, an artist she has long admired and whose hits she knows by heart. Following the success of her 2025 track, Bac Bling, Hoa Minzy sought to create a project with a broader cultural theme, moving beyond a focus on a single region, which led her to join this endeavor. The music video, directed by Dinh Ha Uyen Thu, was filmed over 12 hours in a studio. Baby Winnie, the child of singers Dong Nhi and Ong Cao Thang, made a special guest appearance. Tran Thanh Trung emphasized the song's community significance, timed to coincide with Hung Vuong Ancestral Commemoration Day and 30/4 (Reunification Day). Consequently, he prioritized its message over revenue, allowing other singers to cover it for free.

Cam Ly, 56, first gained prominence through her duets with Dan Truong on the album 'Neu phoi pha ngay mai'. Her fame grew with songs penned by Nguyen Nhat Huy, including: 'Nguoi ve cuoi pho', 'Bo ben la', and 'Thuong nho nguoi dung'. She was the first singer to host free live shows for students in 2003 and 2004. Cam Ly has recorded numerous folk-ballad albums and achieved significant success with her 'Tu tinh que huong' live show series. She married composer Minh Vy in 2004, and they have two daughters. In 2024, she celebrated her 30-year singing anniversary with a special live show at the Hoa Binh Theater in Ho Chi Minh City.

Hoa Minzy, 31, whose real name is Nguyen Thi Hoa and hails from Bac Ninh, won the 'Hoc vien Ngoi sao' (Star Academy) program in 2014. Her popular songs include: 'Roi bo' (by Vu Huy Hoang), 'Khong the cung nhau suot kiep' (by Mr Siro), and 'Bat tinh yeu len' (by Tang Duy Tan). In early 2024, Hoa Minzy received her first 'Most Favorite Female Singer' award at the Mai Vang Awards. That same year, she was honored as 'Female Singer of the Year' at the Cong Hien Awards. In early 2025, the singer released the 'Bac Bling' music video, which became a major hit in her career. On 7/3, she publicly revealed her relationship with a military boyfriend after four years of private dating.
