On 14/3, organizers announced Le Phuong Khanh Nhu as the first contestant to enter the top 20, securing her spot by winning a crucial preliminary round. Khanh Nhu distinguished herself among 47 contestants with compelling speeches on topics such as "the beauty of Vietnam" and "what if this life is not brilliant?". Judges praised her confident demeanor, sharp intellect, and clear communication skills. Her victory was lauded by Miss Bao Ngoc and Luong Thuy Linh as convincing.
Khanh Nhu, born in 2004 in Khanh Hoa, is a final-year tourism student at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH).

The contestant revealed she initially planned to compete in Miss World Vietnam 2023 but lacked confidence. After two years of refining her performance skills, public speaking, English proficiency, and general knowledge, Khanh Nhu finally registered. "I am ready to step out of my comfort zone and seize this opportunity to avoid regrets," she stated.

The top 48 contestants are currently competing in preliminary rounds before the final on 29/3 in TP HCM. The new Miss World Vietnam will represent the country at the 74th Miss World pageant. Miss World Vietnam is a competition that seeks contestants for Miss World. Many beauties have risen to prominence after participating in the pageant, including Luong Thuy Linh, Kieu Loan, Tuong San, Mai Phuong, Bao Ngoc, Phuong Nhi, Y Nhi, Dao Hien, and Minh Kien.
