Khanh Thi and Phan Hien have released a video that uses dancesport as its primary storytelling language. The musical piece, "Gia Nhu Anh La Em", composed by musician Hung Quan, arranged by Vinh Tam, and performed by Le Quyen, portrays a woman navigating various emotional stages of love, ultimately choosing to let go.
The couple completed all filming in five hours late at night, just before their scheduled departure abroad. According to Khanh Thi, the entire choreography prepared beforehand had to be changed on set because the floor was flooded. This presented a significant challenge for maintaining balance, friction, and complex lift techniques. Drawing on their extensive experience in international competitions, the couple adapted to synchronize their moves and complete the performance.
In the video, Phan Hien showcased his strengths in leading and executing decisive supporting moves, while Khanh Thi created impact through her intense gaze and expressions of inner turmoil. "This project was an opportunity for my husband and I to rediscover the feeling of the dance floor after a long time without dancing together," she said.
