Sources close to Deadline reported on 5/2 that actor and producer David Bernad of The White Lotus, inspired by his appreciation for the 1999 film Notting Hill, co-developed the concept for the project. In addition to her starring role, Lisa will serve as an executive producer alongside Alice Kang.
Katie Silberman, known for writing Set It Up and Booksmart, has been tapped to pen the screenplay. The film's plot details remain undisclosed.
