Liu Yifei entered the Beijing Film Academy at 15, making her the youngest in her class. Born in Wuhan in 1987, Liu Yifei's mother is dancer Liu Xiaoli, and her father, An Shaokang, was a French lecturer who later worked at the Chinese Consulate in France.
