LyLy attended the premiere of the work produced by Tran Thanh. The film marks her first cinematic role after 10 years in the entertainment industry. The director stated that he highly values her sensitivity and professional work ethic. LyLy's character in the film is Hai Linh, the host of a talk show about personal lives. She and her celebrity guests discuss views on marriage and love based on personal experiences. The climax occurs when a girl wearing a rabbit mask joins the show to share her story of being threatened by her boyfriend, played by Tran Thanh.
Before filming, LyLy participated in numerous acting training courses, receiving guidance from MC Trac Thuy Mieu on dialogue techniques and character psychology.

Previously, she struggled for a long time to pursue a singing career. Originally from Da Nang, LyLy, real name Nguyen Hoang Lan, moved alone to TP HCM in 2016, making a living by performing in cafes. She once competed in the second season of the reality show Nhan To Bi An (X-Factor) but was eliminated early.

In 2018, LyLy entered the Sing My Song competition (Bai Hat Cua Toi), joining musician Duc Tri's team, but was eliminated in the battle round. At one point, the singer felt stuck due to a lack of shows, having to sell two cherished compositions to a music company to cover expenses. "At that time, despite many people belittling my songwriting ability, I persevered to prove I could do it," LyLy said.
In late 2018, she released the MV 24h, which became a sensation on the charts and has since garnered 185 million views on her YouTube channel. LyLy stated that thanks to her debut hit, her performance fees increased 10 times compared to when she first started singing.

She continued to challenge herself with singing competitions, including The Next Stage 2023, a music talent search program in Trung Quoc, where she reached the top 13. In the first episode, she surprised the judges by playing the guitar while performing the theme song from the film Tan dong song ly biet. During this period, the singer underwent many changes in appearance and fashion style, being described as more sensual and youthful than her actual age.

In 2023, she released her first album, featuring five songs: Ngu dong, Cho em xin loi di ma, Tinh yeu so cute, Tai sao anh nhan loi, and Sau con mua troi lai sang. In 2024, she gained attention by participating in Our Song, a program where two generations of artists compete to refresh old hits. LyLy made an impression with her instrumental skills and dynamic performances, but was eliminated in the semi-finals.

She further challenged herself with the reality show Em Xinh Say Hi, a program featuring 30 female vocalists. When the list of contestants was announced, she attracted considerable interest due to her bright appearance and collection of hits. Many performances featuring LyLy achieved millions of views, such as We Belong Together and Tung.
However, the singer was eliminated early in Live Stage 2 for being in the group with the lowest scores in the competition. Facing comments that she was still unremarkable, she admitted disappointment in her less-than-explosive performance. Nevertheless, she believes she still has many opportunities to shine in other programs.
