Miss Ky Duyen is one of the three main actors in "Chi Chi Em Em 3," which is being filmed in Bac Ninh. She expressed enthusiasm for portraying Thi Mau, a character inspired by classic stage work. "I love cheo culture," she stated, "so I am excited and feel pressure to explore a new side of Thi Mau." Producers chose Bac Ninh for its historical and cultural depth, aiming to promote quan ho folk songs and the province's scenic spots. The film also features Le Khanh, Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc, and Chi Pu, with a projected year-end premiere.

In recent years, Ky Duyen has expanded her career into acting, beyond fashion. In 2024, she took acting classes with artist Le Khanh. Following this, Tran Thanh cast her in "Bo Tu Bao Thu," a Tet 2025 film. Tran Thanh, who had seen Ky Duyen in game shows, noted her suitability for strong, independent female roles. In "Bo Tu Bao Thu," she plays Karen, who interferes in the marriage of the main couple, played by Tieu Vy and Quoc Anh.

Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen, 30, hails from Nam Dinh. She stands 1,75 m tall, weighs 56 kg, with measurements of 85-59-93 cm. For years, her primary focus has been fashion, often serving as an opening model or vedette on runways, and judging or coaching competitions. In mid-9/2024, she won Miss Universe Vietnam 2024. Later that year, she placed in the Top 30 at Miss Universe, an international competition held in Mexico in 11/2024.

The "Chi Chi Em Em" film series explores complex relationships among women, with each installment featuring independent storylines. The first film, directed by Kathy Uyen in 2019, depicted a love triangle involving Thien Kim (Thanh Hang), the daughter of a wealthy businessman; her husband, Huy (Lanh Thanh); and Nhi, a woman with a mysterious background. The second film, directed by Vu Ngoc Dang in 2023, starred Ngoc Trinh and Minh Hang, focusing on the rivalry between two famous beauties in early 20th-century Sai Gon.
