According to Jiupai News, the 65-year-old actor appeared as a guest singer at singer Le Thuy An's concert in Foshan, China on 14/7. This marked a rare performance for Huynh Nhat Hoa at a major art show since his wife, actress Luong Kiet Hoa, passed away from blood cancer in 2020.

For the past six years, the actor has not accepted film roles and has been largely absent from entertainment events, making his solo performance before an audience particularly emotional. Huynh Nhat Hoa spoke with a choked voice, stating, "My wife passed away in 2020, and since then, I have declined all commercial performances and singing engagements. I never expected to be standing here tonight, singing in front of so many people again."
The actor has been reflecting deeply on the recent passing of several friends. Huynh Nhat Hoa feels the impermanence of life and is gradually accepting its changes.

He thanked friends who supported him during difficult times, including Mieu Kieu Vy and Thich My Tran. After spending much time isolated in his room, Huynh Nhat Hoa was encouraged by Mieu Kieu Vy to play football, visit tea houses, jog, and hike.
Huynh Nhat Hoa's daughter, Huynh Chi Tinh, also frequently takes her father out to eat and wakes up early to jog with him. Following a doctor's advice, Huynh Chi Tinh enrolled her father in candle-making and craft classes to help him ease his mind.
The actor and Luong Kiet Hoa met while attending TVB's acting class, marrying in 1988 after six years of dating. In 2013, Luong Kiet Hoa was diagnosed with cancer. During this period, Huynh Nhat Hoa balanced acting and performing with caring for his wife, always maintaining a strong demeanor to be a pillar of support for his wife and child.
After his wife's passing, Huynh Nhat Hoa wrote a letter to her, which included the passage: "My wife, I cannot forget the day we first met: lively, adorable. I cannot forget you when we were dating: always smiling, playful. I cannot forget you when you gave birth to our daughter: dedicated, tolerant, caring for our family. I cannot forget you when you fell ill: bewildered, frightened. I cannot forget you when you passed away: peaceful, closing your eyes with a gentle smile. It is a pity we could not grow old together. Marrying you was the greatest success and my proudest achievement in life. Do not worry about me, this lonely old man. I will carry on your strong spirit to live the rest of my life. I hope we will meet again in the vast universe. Forever loving you."
