According to ENews, Pax Thien attended the screening of 'Self Custody', a film by director Garrett Patten and producer Fernando Ferro, as part of the sundance film festival in utah on 23/1. There, he conversed and took photos with filmmakers before attending a party hosted by TBK Productions in Park City. This marked a rare public event for him since an appearance in a disoriented state in june 2025.

While Pax Thien attended the film festival, the news outlet reported that this does not indicate he will pursue an acting career. He currently works in film production, having previously photographed behind-the-scenes for the 2017 film 'First They Killed My Father', directed by his mother, actress Angelina Jolie. He also served as an assistant to his mother on 'Without Blood' (2024). Sources at TMZ stated that Pax was not involved in Ferro and Patten's newly released work but has discussed future projects with them.

Pax Thien (birth name: Pham Quang Sang) was born in Ho Chi Minh City in 2003. In january 2007, Angelina Jolie filed for his adoption in vietnam. The actress finalized the adoption process, bringing Pax to the United States in march of that year. He is close to his mother, often spending time with her and assisting Jolie with her fashion business and behind-the-scenes work. In 2024, he was hospitalized due to a car accident, spending several days in a special recovery room.

In addition to Pax Thien, Angelina Jolie has five other children with her ex-husband Brad Pitt. The couple has three adopted children: Maddox, 25, Pax Thien, and Zahara, 21; and three biological children: Shiloh, 20, and twins Vivienne-Knox, 18. After their divorce in 2016, the actress gained full custody of all of them.

In an interview with People, Angelina Jolie stated that her children do not enjoy appearing on screen. Currently, each child is pursuing their own path, mostly working behind the scenes. Maddox has assisted his mother on various projects alongside Pax Thien, and at one point, studied to become a pilot, earning his flight certification in 2024. Zahara participates in university social activities, Shiloh practices dance, and Vivienne previously worked as a musical production assistant. There is no information regarding Knox's career aspirations.
