The rock song was composed by Tran Thang and Tang Ngan Ha (of the Ngu Cung band). The lyrics express sorrow at the devastation left in the wake of nature's fury and offer a message of hope for rebuilding: "Don't let the storms extinguish dreams, extinguish hopes/ Don't lose your deep-seated faith".
Upon completing the arrangement, the composer immediately thought of Phuong Thanh's voice. "Her powerful and emotive vocals perfectly suit the spirit I wanted to convey to listeners", Tran Thang said.
Phuong Thanh said that throughout her 30-year singing career, she has frequently participated in social work, sharing the burdens of those affected by natural disasters. Her hometown, Thanh Hoa, is also among the places that annually suffer losses and pain caused by floods and landslides. Drawing from these experiences, the singer wanted to use her music and voice to convey a message of environmental protection.
