Runner-up Thuy Tien's physical transformation over 10 years

Beauty queen Huynh Pham Thuy Tien lost 35 kg, going from 90 kg to 55 kg, and maintains her physique through gym workouts, running, and healthy eating.

Following the "2026 is the new 2016" trend that emerged on digital platforms early this year, Thuy Tien shared a series of photos from her student days when she weighed 90 kg. She stated that she no longer feels self-conscious looking back at her past; instead, she sees it as a source of pride for her efforts and discipline in achieving a better physique.

Her full name is Huynh Pham Thuy Tien, she is 28 years old, and hails from Dong Thap. She graduated with a high-quality bachelor's degree in foreign economics from Foreign Trade University, campus two, Ho Chi Minh City. For the past four years since gaining recognition, Thuy Tien has pursued a career as a model and bilingual MC.

Thuy Tien had a rounder appearance and darker skin during high school. She received many critical comments, which made her feel insecure. By sharing with her family, she overcame her loneliness. After one and a half years of various sports training combined with dieting, she lost over 30 kg.

Three years later, upon entering university, she surprised many when she was crowned Miss Foreign Trade University Ho Chi Minh City. Thuy Tien competed in Miss Vietnam 2018, winning the sports beauty title and reaching the top 10. In 2022, she continued her journey at Miss Universe Vietnam, impressing judges with her story of overcoming body shaming. Through reality television episodes, Thuy Tien demonstrated her resilience, shining in the final and earning the second runner-up title.

She is a muse for many designers, appearing in prominent positions on runways.

Thuy Tien also diligently works out at the gym. She focuses on her diet, limiting carbohydrates and increasing green vegetables and fruits in her meals. She drinks plenty of water and thoroughly removes makeup for healthy skin.
