Singer Hoang Dung recently announced his marriage to Khanh Linh, his long-time manager, on the evening of 8/3. The couple had their engagement ceremony six years ago and married earlier this year in Ha Noi, keeping the details private, which surprised many colleagues and fans.

Over their six years together, the couple maintained a private relationship, not publicly flaunting their affection. Their love is widely described as gentle and a mutual source of support.

They share interests in music and travel. Hoang Dung recounted staying up all night with Khanh Linh, discussing their personalities and even their flaws to better understand each other.

Hoang Dung first met Khanh Linh when he was 25, during a casual stroll through Ha Noi. He was the one who initiated their acquaintance and later expressed his feelings. Hoang Dung shared that Khanh Linh's simple and warm nature deeply resonated with him.

"I didn't truly believe in love until I met Linh. She helped me understand that love isn't just about holding hands, kisses, or promises, but also about trust, companionship, and a commitment to spend the rest of our lives together", he said.

On days free from work, they cook together, listen to music, play games, care for their pet cat, or walk hand-in-hand through the streets and enjoy Trang Tien ice cream.

Many of Hoang Dung's friends describe him as romantic. On one of Khanh Linh's birthdays, he posted an affectionate photo with the message: "Wishing you a warm new year. My love for you is vibrant and passionate."

Hoang Dung said his wife helped him change significantly, making him think more deeply about everything. The singer compares himself to a horse tamed by the right rider. "Being with her, I feel peaceful and comfortable", he said.

At one point, Khanh Linh faced career challenges, changing jobs multiple times. Seeing her exhaustion, Hoang Dung told her: "Stay home, I'll support you." After that, she joined him in all his endeavors. For many years, Khanh Linh has been his manager and music consultant.

According to Hoang Dung, his wife collected songs he had composed but forgotten or wasn't enthusiastic about, then urged him to revise and release them, notably the hit "Nang Tho". Additionally, Khanh Linh contributed to helping her husband complete albums "25", "Xoay Tron", and the E.P "Yen", and encouraged him to hold a series of concerts in 2024 and 2025.

In 2022, Hoang Dung experienced significant pressure while preparing for his "Yen" concert in TP HCM and Ha Noi. Khanh Linh was a constant presence, offering encouragement and assistance with various aspects, including concept development, rehearsals, and dress rehearsals.

According to Hoang Dung, the most significant factor in their enduring relationship is their honesty and mutual trust. "She isn't jealous because she understands the nature of my work, and she's always ready to offer advice on how to overcome pressure. I also don't hide anything from my wife", he said.

Hoang Dung, 31, entered the music scene after becoming the runner-up in The Voice of Vietnam 2015. He has released notable songs such as "Cho Anh Nhe", "Yeu Duoi", "Nep Vao Anh Va Nghe Anh Hat", "Chang Nen Loi", "Doi Loi". Additionally, Hoang Dung composed music for the films "Mua Viet Tinh Ca" and "100 Ngay Ben Em".

In 2025, he held concerts in both Ha Noi and TP HCM, attracting thousands of audience members. The album "Xoay Tron" earned Hoang Dung a nomination for Male Singer of the Year at the Cong Hien Awards 2026, announced on 5/3.
