They are part of Taylor Swift's close circle of friends and frequently spend time together. Singer Ed Sheeran, known for "Thinking of You", may also participate, as he and Swift have been friends for over 10 years. In September 2025, Sheeran and Swift attended the wedding of Selena Gomez and producer Benny Blanco.

Taylor Swift was once close to Zoë Kravitz, but their friendship has recently "cooled", according to Page Six. Nevertheless, sources indicate the actress is still expected to receive an invitation. Kravitz is the fiancee of Harry Styles, Swift's former boyfriend. The two singers dated from late 2012 to early 2013. After their breakup, they maintained an amicable relationship, even conversing at the Grammy 2023. Harry Styles might not attend the wedding due to a scheduling conflict with his international "Together, Together" tour.

Sources suggest that in the football community, a wedding is a grand event. Therefore, many feel obligated to invite the entire team, teammates' wives and girlfriends, and the coaching staff. Kelce is expected to invite player Patrick Mahomes and his wife, who is a close friend and teammate.

In mid-may, reports indicated that Taylor Swift personally called each guest to invite them to the wedding. Recently, Daily Mail reported that some guests have complained about a rule stipulating they could only attend alone. An unnamed guest stated they would feel awkward without a companion, as they know few people at the event. This individual also expressed dissatisfaction, noting that some others were permitted to bring additional guests.

"I know Selena Gomez is bringing her husband, Benny Blanco. She is allowed to bring someone, but I am not because I am a single woman", the guest said.

Representatives for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have not yet responded to these matters.
