Nguyen Thanh Nhan, 23 years old, was born in Tay Ninh. His father was a bricklayer, and his mother sold pork at the market. At 10 years old, he was accepted into the PVF Youth Football Training Center, but he was too young, so his parents did not allow him to join. One year later, Thanh Nhan was again accepted into Tay Ninh province's football talent class. With his good football skills and passion, his family eventually supported and invested in his football career. The PVF-CAND striker was the top scorer in the First Division league two times in two consecutive years: 2022 and 2023.
Earlier, in the 3-2 victory against Thailand in extra time during the SEA Games 33 final, Nguyen Thanh Nhan also played the role of the team's "decisive player". "I just did it for my teammates. The team had already given over 200% of their strength", the striker said. In the U23 Asia 2026 qualifiers, he maintained his form and shined in many matches.
