Dieu Ly, 28, is the second daughter of Miss Vietnam 1994 Dieu Hoa and Indian businessman Maneesh Dane. She recently joined Apple Canada's headquarters, a role she secured after successfully completing multiple recruitment tests and interviews. Before this, Dieu Ly worked for Google in Singapore.

Known for her academic excellence and independence from a young age, Dieu Ly consistently put her parents at ease. Miss Dieu Hoa stated that she respects all of her daughter's choices. In 2020, Dieu Ly graduated with honors in marketing and communications from New York University, US. She then pursued her master's degree in Canada.

Dieu Ly, whose Indian name is Nikita Dane, embodies a rich bicultural heritage. Her mother taught her to embrace both Vietnamese and Indian cultures from childhood. She is proficient in traditional Vietnamese dances and belly dance, often appearing with her mother at events in a sari, the traditional Indian attire. She also showcased an Indian wedding dress at the Namaste - Hello Vietnam Festival in 2023.

Beyond her professional and cultural engagements, Dieu Ly maintains a dynamic personal style, favoring active wear such as jeans and crop-tops. She also works as a photo model, showcasing designs by Hoa Nguyen.

Dieu Ly's family includes her older sister Dieu My and younger brother Hoang Phi. Dieu My, one year her senior, graduated with a business degree from Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania, US. After working in the US for some time, Dieu My moved to the UK and is now married.

Miss Dieu Hoa, born in 1969 in Hanoi, was crowned Miss Vietnam while in her final year studying Russian at Hanoi University of Foreign Languages. She holds a master's degree in business administration from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. She married Maneesh Dane in 1993. Building a family rooted in two cultures, Miss Dieu Hoa and her husband have always been accommodating, actively learning about each other's traditions to foster harmony.
