Mengyao expressed happiness about returning to the lingerie runway after eight years dedicated to motherhood. Before the show, she trained rigorously and lost weight. The model hopes her daughter will watch the video and say, "Mom is so beautiful."

Besides Mengyao, three other Chinese supermodels participated in the show: Liu Wen, He Cong, and Gu Yue. Gu Yue made her debut on the runway for the fashion house.

This marked Mengyao's seventh appearance in the lingerie show. In 2017, she garnered significant attention after falling on stage in Shanghai. Following the incident, she wrote on Weibo: "I apologize for disappointing everyone and thank those who cared about me. In seven years as a model, I have fallen countless times. But I know that no matter how painful the fall, I must get up and keep going. The road ahead is long, and I will continue."

Xi Mengyao is one of the most successful Chinese models in the international fashion industry, having walked for luxury brands at fashion weeks numerous times. In 2019, she married businessman Mario Ho, subsequently reducing her work in the fashion world. Mario Ho is the son of Stanley Ho (1921-2020) and his fourth wife, Angela Leong. Stanley Ho was dubbed the "king of gambling" of Macau for building a casino business empire there. According to Forbes statistics from 2025, Mario Ho's mother has a net worth of 2.6 billion USD.

In late September, Xi Mengyao held a traditional Chinese wedding ceremony and a celebratory reception in Macau. At the reception, Angela Leong expressed gratitude that her son found a kind and intelligent partner, and thanked her daughter-in-law for joining the family and giving birth to two healthy and adorable children.
