On 23/1, Thu Trang's family took a photo shoot to celebrate Tet Binh Ngo (Lunar New Year of the Horse). Many colleagues expressed surprise at Andy's height, surpassing Tien Luat, and his mature appearance, inheriting good looks from both parents.

Thu Trang noted that during adolescence, her son has become quieter and prefers spending time alone. Despite this, the actress feels at ease knowing Andy is well-behaved and listens to his parents. "He is no longer as lively or talkative as he was when he was younger, but he remains an affectionate and understanding boy," Thu Trang shared.

Thu Trang is happy that her small family is always filled with laughter. She is proud that her son learns quickly, enjoys studying foreign languages, and plays many sports.

The couple introduced their son to acquaintances at their 14th wedding anniversary party in 11/2025. They choose to be friends with their son rather than controlling him. Whenever they drive Andy to school, the actors make time to discuss various topics, helping him gradually form his own perspectives on life.

The actor's family wore coordinated outfits during a trip in 8/2025. At home, Thu Trang often affectionately calls her son "little star" and teases her husband as "old star".

When their son was young, the couple was often busy with filming schedules from morning until late night, relying on his paternal grandparents for care. They made efforts to compensate by taking Andy to school and bringing him out on weekends.

The actress expressed gratitude that in recent years, their family life has become stable, and her career has developed. She feels fortunate to have her husband as a steadfast support in her profession throughout their 15 years together.

"For everything, big or small, I ask for his opinion. He respects my views, often advises, but always concludes with: 'The decision is yours'," Thu Trang revealed.

Thu Trang won the award for Best Supporting Actress at the Golden Kite Awards, held in mid-January in Ha Noi. The 42-year-old began her acting career on comedy stages. After a period of acting in television dramas, she participated in many cinematic films such as De Mai tinh 2 (2014), Trung so (2015), and Em la ba noi cua anh (2015). In recent years, she has shifted to producing web-dramas and theatrical films, including Thap tam muoi, Chuyen xom tui, and Nghe sieu de.

Her films have achieved box office success, such as Tiet trang mau (2020), which grossed over 175 billion VND and was once among the top 5 highest-earning Vietnamese films. Nu hon bac ty – Thu Trang's directorial debut – was a major success during Tet At Ty (Lunar New Year of the Wood Snake), with revenues exceeding 200 billion VND. She married actor Tien Luat in 2011 and they have one son.
