Tran Thanh and Thu Trang have been close for decades, since they began their careers performing on comedy stages. Tien Luat, Thu Trang's husband, shared that when Tran Thanh bought his first car, the director immediately drove her to their favorite roadside porridge stall. Later, busy with family and work, they met less often, occasionally appearing at film premieres to support each other.

Actor Ngoc Thuan (second from left), known for the film "Trai nhay", returned to cinema after 20 years, starring opposite Thu Trang.
The film is a romantic family drama, centering on the lives of two sisters, Men (Thu Trang) and Thuong (Tram Anh). After their parents died in an incident, Men bore the burden of the family's debt. She met Kha (Ngoc Thuan), a young gentleman from the Mekong Delta, who pursued her, but their romance faced opposition due to the wealth gap.
Meanwhile, the relationship between Thuong and Cho (Vo Dien Gia Huy), a gentle young man from their hometown, also encountered many difficulties. The film also features artists Hong Anh, Huy Khanh, Kha Nhu, and La Thanh.
