Following Brooklyn's recent public criticism of his parents, a 2023 video of the Beckham family at a London documentary premiere has resurfaced, drawing millions of views on Instagram and X. Viewers interpret the footage as evidence of ongoing tension between designer Victoria Beckham and her eldest son, Brooklyn, and his wife, Nicola Peltz.
In the comments, many viewers reported sensing a tense atmosphere in the video. Victoria appeared to avoid Brooklyn as he attempted to approach, turning her back on her son and daughter-in-law. This behavior led many to criticize her as unfriendly and rude, reinforcing belief in Brooklyn's recent social media claims. He previously alleged that his parents, "Vic-Beck," had "ruined his and his wife's relationship" and "disrespected Nicola."
Conversely, some fans defended Victoria, arguing she often appears awkward when in the spotlight and maintains a reserved expression in public. They believe she did not intentionally ignore anyone.
Other social media users expressed support for Brooklyn, suggesting he aimed to maintain peace by attempting to interact with both his mother and wife, appearing uncomfortable caught in the middle. Viewers also noted Nicola seemed uneasy and unnatural while posing. "It's heartbreaking to witness so much conflict in such a short period. Their body language says it all," one Instagram user commented.
Beyond comments focused on the three, some argued against judging the Beckham family's relationship based solely on a single video. This group emphasized that no one truly knows what Brooklyn's family was experiencing at that moment, urging an end to speculation.
The other three Vic-Beck children: Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, also attended the event but were not seen in the video. Romeo was accompanied by his ex-girlfriend, model Mia Regan.

The Beckham family's alleged conflict has been a viral topic since Brooklyn posted criticisms of his parents on Instagram on 19/1. This post quickly led to widespread media coverage and social media discussions about the family. Among the events Brooklyn cited was his 2022 wedding, where he claimed his mother "stole" his first dance and canceled his wife's wedding dress fitting at the last minute.
As of now, Victoria and David Beckham have not publicly responded to Brooklyn's post. On 20/1, David Beckham made his first public appearance since the criticisms, attending the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, where he sidestepped questions about the family matter.
Rumors of discord within the Beckham family have circulated since 4/2025. Late last year, reports emerged that Brooklyn had blocked his parents' Instagram accounts and insisted on communication solely through lawyers. The entire family was last seen together at Christmas 2024. Despite the estrangement, David and Victoria Beckham frequently mention their son in social media posts, expressing affection for him while notably omitting their daughter-in-law. Before this rift, the family regularly shared happy photos and videos together.
