Checking 4 blood lipid levels at home with the PixoTest Vision device

The PixoTest Vision blood lipid meter helps users proactively screen and monitor 4 important blood lipid levels, including total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, and Triglyceride.

The PixoTest Vision utilizes UV-Vis spectrophotometry to measure light absorption from biochemical reactions on test strips to analyze blood samples. Based on the reaction color, the device quantifies 4 important blood lipid levels: total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, and Triglyceride in about 3 minutes.

According to the manufacturer, the PixoTest Vision's measurement results achieve high accuracy, with an average deviation of approximately 1.3%, comparable to the quality assessment standards of specialized laboratories. A report from the US FDA shows that when comparing the test results of 158 blood samples using the PixoTest Vision with the automated HPLC system (TOSOH G7), the correlation coefficient reached 0.988, confirming the device's reliability.

The PixoTest Vision has a compact design and an intuitive display interface, making it easy to use at home, at work, or while traveling. The device helps users regularly monitor their blood lipid levels, allowing them to adjust their diet and exercise accordingly. This supports the control of metabolic disorders, atherosclerosis, and related cardiovascular diseases.

The product is suitable for patients with metabolic disorders, those with one of the 4 lipid levels at a warning level, those with a history of atherosclerosis, or those who need to monitor their levels continuously on a daily or weekly basis.

The PixoTest Vision is the result of nearly a decade of research and development by iXensor, a medical technology group in Taiwan with over 13 years of experience in biosensors, integrated optical technology, and image analysis software. The company has successfully registered numerous international patents, creating a foundation for commercializing a blood lipid measuring device with high accuracy and flexible operation.

The product has received numerous international awards and certifications, such as the CES Innovation Awards (USA) – an award for innovative devices; and ISO 13485 certification for medical device quality management systems. The product is also approved for circulation by the TFDA, Taiwan's food and drug administration.

These international certifications and awards demonstrate the device's accuracy, reliability, and safety. These factors have also contributed to the positive feedback from professionals and users regarding the device's role in supporting personal health monitoring.

Furthermore, when testing with the PixoTest Vision blood lipid meter, the results are recorded according to IFCC standards, ensuring compatibility with global healthcare systems. This data serves as a basis for blood health management through the PixoHealth Vision app, a digital platform within the E-Blood system.

The app allows for the synchronization of test results via Bluetooth in seconds and displays the results as numerical data and graphs, helping users track blood lipid trends and detect abnormalities. A key feature of PixoHealth Vision is the AI Health Coach, a data analysis tool that provides dietary recommendations, sets reminders for regular checkups, and issues health alerts. Users can share data with professionals for consultation and development of personalized treatment plans.

The integration of testing technology, AI, and remote connectivity helps shorten processing times, supporting effective diagnosis and management of blood lipid disorders. With these improvements, in 2025, PixoTest Vision received the 33rd Taiwan Excellence Award.
