The patients were admitted to Tuyen Quang Provincial General Hospital on the night of 2/8, suffering from severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, dizziness, and lightheadedness.
Doctors provided intensive care at the Intensive Care Unit – Poison Control and Pediatrics departments. All 5 patients are now out of danger and remain under observation at the hospital.
Many mushroom varieties share similar appearances and colors but contain different toxins, making them easily confused.
