The partnership agreement was signed in Ho Chi Minh City on 5/8. The parties described it as a strategic step to enhance pharmacists' expertise in advising and supporting customers in screening for memory and concentration issues.
The program aims to detect early signs of forgetfulness, difficulty concentrating, or slower thinking in people aged 35-50. According to the NCBI, these symptoms can be early indicators of mild cognitive impairment (MCI), an intermediate stage between normal aging and more serious memory disorders.
Following the signing ceremony, representatives from Long Chau, Mayoly, and VnADA expressed their hope that the project would raise public awareness about the importance of early brain care to prevent cognitive decline later in life.

TNmindtest is a memory and concentration assessment tool developed by VnADA and sponsored by Mayoly. It is based on the diagnostic criteria for MCI published by the US National Institute on Aging and the Alzheimer's Association (NIA-AA) in 2011. The test focuses on functions often affected early in younger adults, such as remembering details and new information, learning and retention abilities, and processing short-term information for work tasks.
Mehdi Meftah, Mayoly's general manager for Asia-Pacific, affirmed Vietnam's importance to the company's globalization efforts. For over 30 years, Mayoly has provided solutions for brain care, particularly products containing standardized Ginkgo biloba extract.
"The TNmindtest program demonstrates our commitment to brain health and shows how this collaboration can make a real difference for patients and the community," Meftah said. The project focuses on brain health, an increasing concern for many. The company believes that supporting early screening for memory and concentration is crucial, starting with local pharmacies and clinics.

"Through this partnership, we aim to empower both healthcare professionals and the public with screening tools, community education programs, and professional networking opportunities. Our shared vision is to raise awareness of early brain care, improve quality of life, and provide high-quality products to mitigate the risk of later cognitive decline," Meftah added.
Nguyen Do Quyen, deputy general manager of FPT Retail and managing director of the Long Chau pharmacy and vaccination center system, agreed, saying that disease prevention begins with awareness, early screening, and timely action. This is the spirit of the new project.
The three-way collaboration is a practical step, bringing the screening program not only to pharmacies but also to online platforms, making it easy for anyone, anywhere, to check their memory at home.
"With over 30 million customers and 18,000 pharmaceutical staff, we have the platform to implement this program widely. We are delighted that Mayoly shares our vision and mission 'For a Healthier Vietnam'. This collaboration brings additional expertise and communication resources, helping to expand our reach," Quyen emphasized.
