Long Chau partners with Pfizer to enhance healthcare expertise

Long Chau has signed a partnership agreement with Pfizer to enhance the professional expertise of doctors and pharmacists, aiming to become an extension of the healthcare sector in community health care.

The signing ceremony took place in Ho Chi Minh City on 10/9. Under this partnership, Long Chau and Pfizer Vietnam will implement training programs to update scientific knowledge for medical staff throughout the system, both online and in person.

The two sides will also collaborate to improve professional capacity, supporting personnel in proactively accessing new information on pathology, disease burden, clinical trials, and preventive and treatment methods for respiratory and severe infectious diseases.

In addition, specialized conferences will be held to help Long Chau's core workforce consolidate their knowledge and hone their experience in disease prevention and management.

Long Chau is also strengthening specialized training for its medical council, doctors, nurses, and pharmacists at its nationwide vaccination centers. This effort affirms its long-term vision and supports the Resolution on breakthroughs in healthcare, which focuses on people-centered care to prevent disease, improve community health, and reduce the disease burden.

Besides training, both sides will focus on improving real-world data on prevention and treatment, especially for non-communicable chronic diseases. Long Chau will develop educational materials for its AI platform, helping medical staff access information quickly and efficiently.

With this foundation, the pharmacies will serve as trusted healthcare access points, while the vaccination centers aim to build a strong defense line in preventive care. The connection between these pillars helps Long Chau form a closed healthcare ecosystem, from prevention to treatment support, improving the quality of service for the community.
