The Ministry of Health reported 1,315 people received medical attention during the A80 celebrations, with 113 serious cases transferred to hospitals, mainly due to hypoglycemia, allergies, vertigo, hypocalcemia, and shortness of breath.

On 2/9, Dr. Ha Anh Duc, Director of the Administration of Medical Examination and Treatment, stated that those experiencing health issues received prompt first aid from on-duty personnel and mobile medical teams before being transported to medical tents set up along various routes.

The Hanoi Department of Health treated 664 cases, with 75 severe cases requiring hospitalization. Military medical personnel handled 301 cases, including 27 severe ones. Police medical teams treated 317 cases, with 10 severe cases. Bach Mai Hospital received 7 cases, and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital admitted 26 cases (one severe).

At the medical tent on Lieu Giai street, an area densely packed with people since yesterday morning waiting for the parade, the Hanoi Police Hospital provided care to 86 individuals. Among them, 42 experienced headaches, 8 had high blood pressure, 9 suffered from digestive issues, and 3 fainted, requiring intravenous fluids and glucose. The remaining cases presented with hypoglycemia, allergies, vertigo, hypocalcemia, shortness of breath, and minor injuries from walking and waiting outdoors all day and night.

At Ba Dinh Square, the medical tent of Hospital 19-8 treated 57 cases, including 45 members of the public attending the parade. Dr. Chu Duc Thanh, in charge of the hospital's medical tent, reported that most people sought help for digestive problems, headaches, high blood pressure, shortness of breath, sore throats, gastritis, fatigue, and low blood pressure.

The Ministry of Health mobilized thousands of personnel across hundreds of medical teams stationed throughout the area, from the city center to the parade route. Teams responsible for environmental monitoring, food safety, and disease prevention were established before the event.

Dr. Duc reported that 217 medical teams with 1,097 medical staff and 134 ambulances were mobilized for the A80 celebrations.

"The health sector has successfully completed its mission of providing medical care to both personnel and the public participating in the celebrations," Duc said.
