The DAV issued a recall on 10/9 for Ori Women Pluss feminine hygiene wash (120ml bottle, batch number 160324). Testing showed the product exceeded acceptable limits for microorganisms. Bao Minh Chau Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company, based in Hai Phong, distributed the product, while SJK Cosmetics and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology Company Limited, located in Hanoi, manufactured it.
LD Perfume Oil (12ml bottle, batch number LD043979), distributed by LD Group Trading and Production Company Limited in Can Tho, was also recalled. This product had two violations: its sensory quality did not meet requirements, and its labeling lacked mandatory information, such as the production date on the box and the batch number on the bottle.
Health experts warn that products exceeding microorganism limits can cause skin irritation and infections, harming consumers.

The DAV has instructed local health departments nationwide to confiscate and destroy the affected batches of both products. The agency is also investigating the companies' compliance with cosmetic regulations in their production and business activities.
The three companies involved must retrieve all recalled products from retailers and subsequently destroy them. They are also required to review the labeling of other batches from the same product lines for similar errors and report their findings, as well as the recall progress, to the DAV.
"The companies will be held fully accountable under the law if they provide inaccurate information", a DAV representative stated.
Authorities have recently uncovered numerous violations among pharmaceutical and cosmetic manufacturers and distributors, leading to recalls and destruction of many counterfeit or substandard products. In June alone, the DAV conducted surprise inspections of 38 facilities, finding 17 violations. Additionally, 20 provinces and cities inspected 865 production, import, and trading establishments, identifying 48 with violations.
