On 30/1, Tay Ninh Provincial Police announced the completion of their scene investigation into a murder in Long Hoa ward.

According to the investigation, on the evening of 28/1, Ms. Hoa had locked the gate of her private house in Quarter 1. However, the main door and bedroom door were only slightly ajar, and the lights inside the house remained on. In the middle of the night, Hung, carrying a bag, climbed over the fence and entered the property. He then retrieved a knife, opened the bedroom door, and stabbed Ms. Hoa multiple times. After the victim collapsed, Hung used the knife to commit suicide.

The next afternoon, family members, unable to contact Ms. Hoa, arrived at her house. Finding the gate locked and receiving no answer to their calls, they arranged for the door to be forced open. Inside, they discovered Ms. Hoa and Hung lying dead, naked, next to each other in the bedroom, with multiple stab wounds and blood splattered across the room.

Security camera footage confirmed the entire sequence of events.

Initial information revealed that both Ms. Hoa and Hung were divorced and had lived together as a couple for three years, alongside Ms. Hoa's two children. Recently, after the children moved to TP HCM for their studies, the couple experienced frequent relationship disputes and separated in mid-1.
