On 27/1/2026, the Lam Dong Provincial Police Economic Crime Department, collaborating with Bao Lam 3 commune police, intercepted a truck suspected of carrying counterfeit goods. Authorities discovered over 1,000 packages of finished coffee products, totaling 528 kg, without invoices or proper documentation. The items were immediately seized.

Expanding their investigation, police inspected World Coffee Production - Trading Co., Ltd., located in Bac Gia Nghia ward. Luong Viet Kiem, the company's legal representative, admitted that the seized coffee belonged to his business.
Inside the company's warehouse, police found over 7,900 packages of various finished coffee products, weighing more than 4 tons. Additionally, over 3 tons of raw materials and numerous coffee production machines and equipment were discovered.

At the police station, the business owner initially admitted to mixing soybeans with coffee beans and flavorings to produce these low-cost finished products.
Preliminary police findings indicate that all the seized coffee products failed to meet declared quality standards and show signs of infringing upon consumer rights.
The investigating agency is currently clarifying the full extent of the violations.
