On 31/1, the Long Thanh Communal Police temporarily detained a 34-year-old male worker from Tay Ninh province. He is under investigation for sexual assault of a person under 16.

According to the investigation, the suspect and the 16-year-old victim both worked at a company within the Loc An - Binh Son Industrial Park in Long Thanh commune. The incident occurred on the evening of 26/1 when the suspect found the young woman alone in the workshop's restroom area. He approached her and committed acts of groping and sexual assault.

The entire incident was recorded by security cameras. The victim subsequently reported the matter to authorities.

During questioning by the police, the suspect admitted to the violation. The Long Thanh Communal Police are currently consolidating the case file and clarifying related details to process the case according to regulations.

Following this incident, the Dong Nai Police urged businesses, families, and the community to enhance supervision, promptly detect, and report acts of child abuse.
