Gia Lai Provincial Police detained Tran Van Trong, 33, on 26/1 for illegal drug possession.

Yesterday afternoon, police unexpectedly raided the house on Nguyen Viet Xuan street, Hoi Phu ward, catching Trong red-handed. He had a nylon bag hidden on his person, containing seven white plastic straw segments sealed at both ends. Inside these plastic segments were crystalline solid substances, identified as crystal meth.

At the time of Trong's arrest, authorities discovered three other people present at the location. Rapid testing confirmed all four individuals were positive for drugs.

An urgent search of Trong's residence led investigators to discover and seize several related items and documents.
