Dong Nai Police are finalizing documents to take action against a young man for a social media comment threatening terrorism and disrupting security at Long Thanh Airport. This action, initiated on December 23, aims to ensure deterrence and general prevention.

The incident occurred on December 17. After an online account posted information about the first technical flight landing at Long Thanh Airport, the young man used an anonymous account to comment: "Prepare one million USD for me, or I'll make the airport go boom boom".

The Dong Nai Police Internal Security Department, collaborating with specialized units, tracked him online and identified him in less than 24 hours.

At the security agency, the man admitted to writing the threatening comment. He stated his intention was merely "joking around" and acknowledged his lack of legal understanding, not fully comprehending the dangerous nature and serious consequences of his actions.

Police explained that all acts threatening terrorism, regardless of the form—including comments, shares, or statements made online—are strictly prohibited by law and will be prosecuted.
