At the police station, Viet admitted his involvement in organizing prostitution. The Criminal Police Department placed him under temporary criminal detention, continuing to build the case, expand the investigation, and process all related individuals.
This surrender follows a raid in the early morning of 9/1. Da Nang City Police's Criminal Police Department inspected spa and massage areas at both Muong Thanh Hotel and Samdi Hotel, uncovering disguised prostitution activities. Officers caught many couples in the act of buying and selling sex in service rooms, taking over 40 individuals for questioning.
Police seized records, hundreds of condoms, cash, and various exhibits. They determined these establishments disguised prostitution as "service packages" for spa and massage, illegally profiting hundreds of millions of dong monthly.
On 10/1, six individuals were placed under temporary criminal detention for organizing prostitution. The search for the Samdi Hotel spa manager, now identified as Viet, had been ongoing since then.
