Lam Dong Provincial Police recently issued an administrative fine to a 32-year-old woman from Hong An Ward, Hai Phong City. She was penalized for disseminating false, distorted, and defamatory information that undermined the reputation of organizations and individuals.
The woman admitted to the violation and pledged not to repeat the behavior.

Earlier, Lam Dong Police discovered that the YouTube channel Ky su Bi Mat had uploaded numerous fabricated storytelling videos with shocking titles. These included: "The Da Lat Case: 3 Students Buried Alive in one Fateful Night"; "Bloody Da Lat: Wife Dismembers Husband with two Friends"; "Hiding 60 Bodies for 1.5 billion VND Due to Greed"; and "21 Missing Victims in Da Lat: Horrifying Discovery of a Human Finger in a Bowl of Beef Pho". These videos attracted hundreds of thousands of views.
Police identified that since mid-last year, the woman, who owns the channel, used AI tools to create 415 fabricated, horror-themed storytelling videos. She uploaded these to her YouTube channel to attract engagement and generate income. The Ky su Bi Mat channel garnered over 110,000 followers and 10 million views.
Authorities advised social media users to be cautious when posting and sharing information. They urged against exploiting technology to create fabricated content that could cause public confusion. Online content, authorities stated, must be truthful and contribute to building a healthy information environment.
