Rebecca Auborn, 36, pleaded guilty to four counts of murder and one count of aggravated assault at a hearing on 19/12 in Columbus, Ohio.
According to court records, Rebecca murdered four men, aged 30 to 64, by luring them to hotels for sex, then intentionally overdosing them with drugs to steal their property.
In one case, Rebecca stated she mixed fentanyl, a powerful opioid painkiller, into the victim's drug paraphernalia. When the man overdosed, she took his car and debit card.
Authorities linked Rebecca to four overdose deaths that occurred from january to june 2023 at hotels in northeast Columbus. Her crime spree ended only after one victim survived and reported her to police.

According to court documents, the surviving victim met Rebecca for sex on 13/12/2022. After escaping death, he provided police with enough information for her arrest and indictment in 2023.
Rebecca had no significant criminal record before she began the murders.
Ohio attorney general Dave Yost described Rebecca as a "serial killer" due to the series of murders committed over time, using the same method.
Following her guilty plea, Rebecca faces life imprisonment without parole for 15 years for each murder count, and a maximum sentence of 11 to 16 and a half years for the aggravated assault charge.
Rebecca is scheduled to be sentenced on 20/2/2026. The judge will decide whether the prison sentences will be served concurrently or consecutively.
