Generali Vietnam launches 'Vita - Prosperous Investment' unit-linked insurance

The 'Vita - Prosperous Investment' unit-linked insurance is designed to harmoniously combine protection, investment, savings, and wealth transfer, helping customers build a strong financial foundation.

Generali Vietnam has introduced its new unit-linked insurance product, "Vita - Prosperous Investment". For many families, the breadwinner is central to long-term financial planning. Their financial decisions ensure family stability and sustainable long-term goals, requiring a smart strategy and solid support. Generali Vietnam’s new product aims to provide these essential elements.

Protecting the breadwinner

"Vita - Prosperous Investment" suits customers who actively manage personal finances, prioritize quality of life, and seek long-term asset preservation and growth. Their motivation for sustainable financial decisions often comes from planning for their children's future or retirement peace of mind. The product includes a comprehensive contingency fund for life and health risks, acting as a financial shield.

A key feature is the option to increase protection at important life milestones like marriage, childbirth, or children's school enrollment. Customers can increase their sum assured by up to 50% from the 2nd policy year, to a maximum of VND 1 billion, without health underwriting. This ensures protection adapts flexibly to the breadwinner's increasing responsibilities.

Investment with protection

With "Vita - Prosperous Investment", customers get both protection and accumulation in one financial solution.

It offers flexible investment opportunities, with assets managed by two fund management companies: Dragon Capital and VinaCapital. Customers can build investment strategies tailored to each life stage by allocating funds into one to three unit-linked funds.

The investment plan is flexible, adjusting to life changes. As income rises, customers can invest more to accelerate accumulation. If financial needs shift, they can switch funds to match new risk appetites. For major plans like buying a home or business investment, flexible, fee-free withdrawals are available as per product regulations.

The product also provides a Loyalty Bonus for long-term contract holders, with the bonus value increasing with premiums. Eligible customers can receive a bonus of up to 30% of the average basic account value, acknowledging their commitment to Generali. This bonus is reviewed every 5 consecutive policy years before payout, at the 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th anniversaries.

A Lifetime Bonus, equal to 1% of the actual basic premium paid, is disbursed from the 5th policy year until the contract end. The first bonus review period covers the 1st to 5th policy years. Thereafter, the bonus is reviewed annually, increasing benefit value over time.

Transferring value to future generations

"Vita - Prosperous Investment" helps customers plan and transfer their legacy to future generations, such as their children.

The "Inheritance Gift" feature allows customers to grant their children the right to activate an Inheritance Contract with specific privileges. At the time of transfer, children can continue with Generali to build a prosperous future by activating the Inheritance Contract. This is all planned with a single premium payment. Generali Vietnam states this ensures children can start confidently without future financial worries.

The Inheritance Contract has no initial fees but still receives all product bonuses, allowing the account value to grow effectively. Upon receiving the inheritance contract, children continue to be protected by Generali with a superior set of riders and access comprehensive care and support benefits.
