The fall left his 6-year-old youngest child concussed and with a broken arm. The family, visiting Hanoi from Dong Nai, was unfamiliar with the area and didn't know where the nearest hospital was.
Captain Dang Van Truong and Senior Lieutenant Dao Minh Nghia, officers from Road Traffic Police Team No. 6, Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police, were on duty nearby and quickly arrived at the scene.
Seeing the injured child and the distraught parents, the two officers used their patrol car to transport Mr. Tuoi's child to E Hospital, almost 2 km away, for emergency treatment.

A representative from Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 said that the family was on a trip to visit the capital city during their summer break. Mr. Tuoi and his wife were traveling with their two children, aged 9 and 6. Due to financial constraints, traveling by motorbike was their only option to save costs on the more than 1,500 km journey from Gia Ray Town, Xuan Loc District, Dong Nai Province.
Sympathizing with the family's difficult journey and circumstances, after helping to take the child to the hospital, the command staff of Traffic Police Team No. 6 visited the family at the hospital and decided to contribute towards medical expenses.
"The family came from far away and unfortunately had this accident in an unfamiliar place. We hope this small contribution will help ease their burden while the child receives treatment, demonstrating the spirit of mutual support among Vietnamese people," the traffic police representative said.

At the hospital, the child's arm was put in a cast. Later that afternoon, once the child was stable, Mr. Tuoi's family was discharged and took a bus back to Dong Nai.
"In our moment of greatest need, we received not only help but also financial support. My family will never forget this kindness," Mr. Tuoi said.
