The Vinh Long native said he has been drinking Khong Do Green Tea for many years, especially during stressful exam periods or hot weather.

Recounting his winning moment, Quy shared that he had texted to participate in the "Khong Do, stress-free summer" promotion a few times this summer at his friend's suggestion. "I didn't pay much attention to the promotion because I was mainly focused on enjoying Khong Do Green Tea and chatting with my friends. Since my friend invited me, I also peeled off the label, got the code, and texted to join the program with everyone for fun," the student said.

Despite only participating a few times, Quy was surprised to be one of two lucky customers to win the first prize worth 100 million VND in the livestream draw in early July. It took the organizers a month after the livestream to convince him to complete the prize claim procedures.

"Because I didn't pay attention to the promotion, when I received the notification that I had won 100 million VND, I thought it was a scam," Quy said about the moment he received the winning notification.

To be sure, the student went to the Khong Do Green Tea fanpage to rewatch the livestream and checked Google to verify the prize. Only when he saw his winning code and phone number publicly displayed on the promotion's website did Quy believe he had won.

Sharing his plans for the prize money, Quy said the amount is quite substantial for a student. Therefore, after receiving the money, he will give it to his parents so they can add to their funds for building a house and settling down in Ho Chi Minh City. His parents currently work in the footwear industry in Hung Long commune, Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Quy Duc, Binh Chanh district).

The "Khong Do, stress-free summer" promotion, which ran from 5/5 to 2/8, attracted millions of participants. The organizers awarded 800,000 phone card prizes worth from 10,000 VND to 50,000 VND to the winners.
