Most users currently view refrigerators primarily as devices for storing and preserving food. Consequently, the main demand for these products focuses on aspects such as capacity or cooling capability. Users often do not envision AI's role in a refrigerator, sometimes even seeing it as a superficial feature added for marketing. Upon opening the door to place or retrieve any food item, the Samsung Bespoke AI refrigerator immediately identifies it and displays it on the AI Family Hub screen. From there, the refrigerator can inform you about food quantities, expiry dates, suggest recipes using ingredients currently in the fridge, and even send those recipes to a connected oven to coordinate and expedite meal preparation.

Behind this capability is AI Vision Inside technology, which uses an internal camera and artificial intelligence to recognize fresh food, helping users manage their food inventory from anywhere. The most evident benefit is a reduction in expired or spoiled food due to prolonged storage, minimizing waste and enhancing convenience for shopping and cooking.

Washing machines that "understand" each load

AI in Bespoke AI washing machines and dryers automatically optimizes the washing and drying processes, ensuring clothes are clean while saving detergent and energy consumption.

To achieve this, Samsung developed AI Wash technology, which identifies fabric type, load weight, and soil level. This allows it to optimize water usage, detergent quantity, and wash-rinse time. For example, with delicate materials like sportswear, the machine uses less detergent and calculates an appropriate spin and rinse time. Conversely, for thicker materials such as blankets, the machine uses more water and detergent, increasing spin cycles to ensure effective cleaning.

Thanks to AI, users no longer need to manually select wash modes or pour detergent. More importantly, the ability to optimize wash and dry cycles also leads to more efficient energy savings.

A kitchen that collaborates with the chef

A smart kitchen not only provides cooking tools but also flexibly adapts to users' food preparation needs. For instance, induction cooktops can flexibly change cooking zones, splitting into smaller areas for simultaneous preparation of multiple dishes or combining into a large zone for oversized pots and pans. Ovens can bake multiple dishes in a single compartment at different temperatures. All these features are available in Samsung's Bespoke AI kitchen collection.

With the Bespoke AI dishwasher, AI Wash technology can detect up to 14 different levels of dirt at each wash stage. This allows the machine to continuously optimize the washing and rinsing process according to the amount of dirt, resulting in superior cleaning while saving electricity, water, and time.

The entire home operates automatically via SmartThings

The most impressive experience that Bespoke AI home appliances offer users is their seamless synchronization and connection through the SmartThings application. Through this platform, Samsung TV models, from Micro RGB, OLED, Neo QLED, and Mini LED to UHD, connect seamlessly with Bespoke AI home appliances. The SmartThings platform helps monitor devices, automate daily routines, and optimize everyday tasks, creating a flexible space that adapts to your lifestyle.

For example, users can check the on/off status of devices even when at work, receive laundry cycle completion notifications on their phone to hang clothes, schedule household tasks for devices before arriving home, and check maintenance status to ensure stable operation.
