Joyful moments at the 2025 Kun Marathon Da Nang

2,000 children aged 6-10 raced, tackled challenges, and interacted with key opinion leaders (KOLs) early on the morning of 19/7 during Kun Marathon's second visit to Da Nang.

From 6 a.m., thousands of children gathered at Tien Son Sports Palace, lining up in orderly rows according to their age groups. They participated in warm-up exercises with energetic music, preparing for the Kun Marathon. This activity was free for children aged 6-10.

At 6:45 a.m., the children's race began, 15 minutes earlier than scheduled to avoid the heat. Many children were eager, attempting to start even before the signal. The MC repeatedly reminded them to "try to run within their limits, focus on having fun, and not push themselves too hard".

The Kun Marathon was like a festival for children. Their racecourse was filled with both smiles and tears. Many were excited to compete with their friends, while some were more hesitant because it was their first time participating in such a large event.

The highlights of the race were the challenge stations, such as the bouncy house, the ball pit, and the tunnel. The challenges were not difficult, adding to the race experience and encouraging a spirit of conquest.

A 6-year-old runner sped up after overcoming the ball pit. Behind him were other children striving to conquer the challenge.

The 8-year-old group conquered the nearly 1km race quite easily. Many completed it in about 5 minutes.

Young runners enjoyed immersing themselves in the unique athletic atmosphere.

Yen Noi Com Dien, a YouTuber with over 2.7 million followers, joined the children in going through the tunnel. The children's race also featured guest appearances by content creators popular with children.

Outside, parents crowded the security barriers, cheering and encouraging the children as they approached the finish line. According to many parents, the Kun Marathon is beneficial, providing summer fun for their children and fostering exercise habits.

After about an hour of competition, all runners completed the race. At the finish line, the organizers awarded medals, took commemorative photos, and provided nutrition and medical support.

The event created a playground for children, helping them develop physically and mentally while also connecting families. After Da Nang, the Kun Marathon is scheduled to visit Nha Trang this August.
