Hon Khoi salt fields, situated in Ninh Hoa town (formerly), about 45 km from Nha Trang, cover an area of approximately 400 hectares, making it one of the largest salt fields in Vietnam. The bustling activity of the salt workers begins at dawn and ends at sunset. |

Ba Ho stream, about 25 km north of Nha Trang's center, offers a tranquil, unspoiled environment surrounded by lush greenery. Originating from the 660-meter-high Hon Son peak, the 10-km-long stream flows through a primary forest ecosystem, forming three consecutive lakes at different altitudes, hence its name, Ba Ho (Three Lakes) stream.
With an entrance fee of 100,000 VND, the Ba Ho ecological tourist area offers not only sightseeing but also recreational activities such as kayaking, a floating water park, and whitewater rafting.

Standing at 972 meters, Hoang Nguu Son mountain is located in the former Dong Bo war zone, Phuoc Dong commune. This area is a popular destination for adventure sports enthusiasts, particularly mountain climbers. From the summit, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Nha Trang, earning it the nickname "the roof of the city" among locals.

The house of Doctor Alexandre Yersin, a French scientist who dedicated much of his life to Vietnam, is located on Hon Ba mountain, about 60 km from Nha Trang. The two-story house displays photos and artifacts related to Yersin's life and work on the first floor. The second floor is divided into three rooms: a bedroom, a living room, and a memorial altar.
On 20/3/2023, the house was recognized as a National Historical Site. In October 2023, the Alexandre Yersin Admiration Association erected a bust of Doctor Yersin in front of the house.

Hon Ong Island (Whale Island), located in Van Phong Bay, nearly 100 km from Nha Trang, derives its name from the whales frequently sighted between February and May each year. This period also coincides with the breeding season of jellyfish and krill, attracting whales to feed.
The island is primarily covered by natural forests, unlike other tourist islands, and is uninhabited.

Doc Let beach, one of the most pristine and beautiful beaches in Khanh Hoa province, lies about 50 km north of Nha Trang. It boasts a long coastline, smooth white sand, and gentle surrounding hills.
Visitors can enjoy jet skiing, parasailing, and seafood feasts. In 2014, Lonely Planet listed Doc Let among the top 8 most beautiful beaches in Vietnam.

Yang Bay waterfall, located northwest of the city, about 40 km from Nha Trang, translates to "Waterfall of God" in the Raglai language. Formed by the Yang Bay, Ho Cho, and Yang Khang mountains, Yang Bay is the largest waterfall, measuring over 80 meters high and 2,000 meters long, with two lakes: a large one and a small one.

The VnExpress Marathon Libera Nha Trang 2025 is expected to attract 13,000 runners, with distances ranging from 5 km to 42 km. The race will follow a coastal route, passing Tran Phu Bridge, Tram Huong Tower, and Luong Son pass.
