On 1/7, the Standing Committee of the Hue City Party Committee and the City People's Committee announced and presented decisions to transfer, rotate, and appoint many leading officials.

Accordingly, Tran Quoc Thang, Chief of the City Party Committee Office, was transferred to the Department of Internal Affairs and appointed as its director. Nguyen Van Hung, director of the Department of Justice, was transferred to serve as Chief of the City Party Committee Office.

Nguyen Thi Chau, principal of the Nguyen Chi Thanh Political School, was transferred and appointed director of the Department of Justice. Hoang Dang Khoa, director of Hue Newspaper, Radio, and Television, was transferred and appointed principal of the Nguyen Chi Thanh Political School.

Phan Thanh Hai, director of the Department of Culture and Sports, was transferred and appointed director of Hue Newspaper, Radio, and Television. Le Minh Nhan, Vice Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Chairman of the City Labor Federation, was received and appointed director of the Department of Culture and Sports.

Le Van Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance, was transferred and appointed director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment.

The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee also transferred Nguyen Tan Trong, Chief of the City National Assembly Delegation and People's Council Office, to work at the Quang Dien Commune Party Committee, designating him as Secretary of the Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Le Ngoc Bao, Secretary of Quang Dien Commune, was transferred to serve as Secretary of the An Cuu Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Duong Thi Thu Thuy, Secretary of An Cuu Ward, was transferred to the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, nominated for Vice Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2025-2030 term, and also elected Chairwoman of the City Women's Union for the 2025-2030 term.

Tran Thi Kim Loan, Vice Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Chairwoman of the City Women's Union, was assigned and nominated to be elected Chairman of the City Labor Federation for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking at the conference, Nguyen Dinh Trung, Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, stated that the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee considers personnel work based on officials' qualities, capabilities, reputation, experience, and practical requirements. These transfers and appointments aim to consolidate the organizational structure, create new momentum, and improve leadership and management efficiency.

He requested that newly assigned officials promptly hand over and take on responsibilities, stabilize their organizations, and prevent any disruption to agency operations. They are also tasked with focusing on key objectives for the last six months of 2026, such as: administrative reform, digital transformation, improving the investment environment, supporting businesses, accelerating public investment capital disbursement, and resolving difficulties for key projects.
