Agent and Bayern clash over Jackson's future

Agent Diomansy Kamara fires back after honorary president Uli Hoeness claims Bayern Munich won't make Nicolas Jackson's loan move permanent.

Jackson's initial loan agreement, originally slated for Chelsea but cancelled due to Liam Delap's injury, finally went through after a short delay. Chelsea then recalled Marc Guiu from Sunderland as a replacement, paving the way for Jackson's move to Germany.

The loan deal included an option for Bayern to buy the Senegalese forward for approximately 70 million USD if he met certain appearance requirements. However, honorary president Uli Hoeness asserted this is unlikely. "It’s not an 18.1 million USD loan fee, because the player and agent contributed 3.3 million USD, so Bayern only paid 14.9 million USD. There will be no long-term contract. That only happens if he starts 40 matches, and that will never happen," Hoeness told SPORT1.

Hours later, Jackson's agent, Diomansy Kamara, responded sharply on Instagram: "Many talk, but few tell the truth. Today is not the time to discuss this. Our only priority is Senegal's decisive World Cup qualifier. This is an important moment for the entire nation. We will address other issues at the appropriate time."

Last season, Jackson scored 13 goals for Chelsea across all competitions, including 10 in the Premier League. Inconsistent form and Chelsea's acquisition of forwards Joao Pedro and Liam Delap seemingly left him without a future at Stamford Bridge.

At Bayern, Jackson will compete with Harry Kane, who started 42 matches last season and is virtually irreplaceable. However, the departures of Thomas Muller, Mathys Tel, Leroy Sane, and Kingsley Coman from Bayern's attack could create opportunities for the Senegalese forward.

During his unveiling, Jackson called Bayern one of the biggest clubs in the world, home to many legendary players. "I have many goals, many dreams, and I will give everything to help Bayern win more titles," he added.

Sporting director Christoph Freund praised Jackson's versatility, pace, and threat in front of goal, noting his ability to exploit space behind defenses. Freund believes Jackson's open and positive attitude will ensure a smooth transition into the new environment.
